Independent Warehouse & Logistics Operative - East Coast USA

We are looking for an independent Warehouse & Logistics operator to join our growing team. This position and role needs to be based on the East Coast, in a location that will enable next day delivery of parcels and shipments to the UK and Europe. The operative needs to ensure accurate movement (inbound and outbound) of all deliveries, safely within the warehouse sort environment, whilst working to deadlines

Daily responsibilities will include receiving shipments of inventory, unloading, unpacking, counting, storing and then re-shipping onto the UK and Europe within the same day or next day.
The Operative is to have available warehouse space from which to operate (take receipt of goods, count, pack, re-ship) and be in the business of warehouse/logistics/reshipping.

Key Responsibilities

• Take delivery of in-bound shipments
• Unpack and count inventory, comparing to invoice and inputting onto stock system
• Re-pack and ship in accordance with instructed deadlines
• Communicate daily with the Product team with respect of in-bound and out-bound dispatches
• Work as an extension of our UK Warehouse & Operations team

Key Skills & Experience

• Good communication and a self-starter
• Excellent organisational skills and an acute attention to detail
• 3+ years experience working in a Warehouse & Logistics departments

Remuneration can be discussed on a retainer + per parcel basis.
